BharatPe board fires co-founder, MD Ashneer Grover

<p>The BharatPe board of directors has decided to fire Ashneer Grover, the company's co-founder, and MD, according to people familiar with the matter. The decision is based on the findings of a preliminary internal investigation into financial fraud. The company has hired a law firm and a risk advisory consultant to conduct a more thorough investigation. The magnitude of the financial misconduct is in the double-digit crores, according to the internal investigation.</p>
