Bharatpe buys Payback India with Suhail Sameer, Gautum Kaushik joining the board

<p>Bharatpe announced that it has bought Payback India from American Express and ICICI strategic funds. Financial details were not disclosed but this is the first-ever acquisition by Bharatpe. Payback India has over 100 offline and online partners. By 2023, Bharatpe plans on building a strong network of 20 mn small merchants. Suhail Sameer and Gautum Kaushik will be a part of the Bharatpe board and will closely with Pramod Mahanta and Rijish Raghavan.</p>
