Bharti Telecom Returns to Bond Market After a Year With $850M Plan
<p>After an absence of a year, Bharti Telecom in India intends to return to the bond market. According to a term sheet, the company hopes to raise as much as $858.32 Million through shorter-term bonds valued at up to 70 Billion Indian rupees. The telecom operator, which owns a share in Bharti Airtel, intends to raise capital in three tranches and has solicited bids from investors, according to merchant bankers.</p>
