BlackBerry revenue exceeds targets due to demand for cybersecurity, auto technology

<p>Canada&#39;s Blackberry beat Wall Street sales projections because of expansion in its car products and cybersecurity services sectors. Sales of Blackberry&#39;s auto software, which is used in vehicles built by companies like General Motors and Toyota among others, were driven by the growing demand for electric vehicles and connected-car technology. Blackberry announced that its Internet-of-Things sector saw revenue growth of 19 %.</p>
