Blackstone Plans $700M Education Platform with Globetrotters Stake
US private equity firm Blackstone is negotiating to acquire a majority stake in Globetrotters Educational Innoventions, the operator of Jayshree Periwal International School in Jaipur. This deal will form the foundation for a larger $600-700 million education platform in India. Blackstone aims to expand the school’s presence while retaining the existing management team.
