Boeing plans to make its next airplane in metaverse

<p>Boeing&#39;s holy grail is to create and connect virtual 3D digital twin replicas of the plane and its production system. The digital mockups are supported by a digital thread that connects all of the aircraft&#39;s information. Chief Engineer at Boeing, Gregory L. Hyslop, said over 70% of quality issues are traced back to a design flaw. Such tools, according to Boeing, can be critical in bringing a new aircraft from concept to market in as little as four or five years.<br /> &nbsp;</p>
