Britain's new data protection policy to ease compliance

<p>Britain will establish a new data protection policy that differs from EU standards, ostensibly to make compliance easier for businesses and to minimize the number of obnoxious cookie pop-ups that irritate internet users. The government stated that the new laws will not halt the flow of data between the United Kingdom and the European Union, and attorneys stated that Britain is implementing incremental reform.</p>
