BSNL plans to sell 10,000 towers as part of its monetisation plans

<p>BSNL has started a process to sell 10,000 telecom towers in order to satisfy benchmarks set by the Centre as part of its national monetization pipeline. The state-owned telecom services company has hired KPMG as a financial advisor to oversee the sale and estimated the enterprise value of the towers to be sold at 4,000 Cr. 70% of BSNL towers have been fiberized and are prepared for the implementation of 4G and 5G services.</p>
