By 2025, the cloud will account for half of all enterprise IT spending

<p>Gartner said enterprise IT spending on public cloud computing will exceed traditional IT spending in 2025 across addressable market groups -- application software, infrastructure software, business process services, and system infrastructure industries, Gartner's 'cloud shift' research includes just those enterprise IT categories that can transfer to cloud. The shift to the cloud has only increased over the past two years due to COVID-19.</p>
