Capgemini announces high single-digit increment for 70% of employees

<p>Capgemini, having around 60% of its 2 lakh workforce in India, is reported to have offered high single-digit increments to 70% of its staff effective April 1. The rest of the staff will be paid an increment in July. The French IT giant also announced Rs 10,000 cash for employees stranded without any accommodation. Above all, it is paying salaries, however without a timeline, to benched staff not having any billable projects, as of now. </p>
