Casual Users, Not Power Users: Only 7% of Eurozone Firms Fully Embrace AI

A European Central Bank study of 5,000 companies reveals that while over 70% of Eurozone firms use AI, "intensive use" remains rare at just 7%. Most integration is moderate or infrequent, meaning AI has yet to spark transformative macroeconomic productivity gains. Interestingly, heavy AI adoption is currently led by small, young, high-tech service firms, while larger corporations continue to lag behind.
