CCI Seeks NCLAT Clarity on WhatsApp Data Sharing Consent
India's competition watchdog, CCI, has approached the NCLAT for clarification on its recent WhatsApp judgment. The CCI is seeking to confirm if the court's order requires mandatory user consent for data sharing with Meta Platforms, regardless of whether the data is used for advertising or non-advertising purposes.
