Centre makes Rs 1.5L Cr in 5G spectrum auction, rollout in October

<p>The much-discussed sale of 5G spectrum has now been completed, bringing in a staggering Rs 1.50 lakh Cr for government coffers. This opens the door for the launch of 5G services in the nation as early as October of this year. 51,236 MHz, or almost 71%, of the entire 72,098 MHz of spectrum available has been sold in the auction. In the last seven days, a total of 40 rounds of bidding have been held. The bids were worth a total of Rs 1,50,173 Cr.</p>
