Chinese tech giants face $80B loss of wealth in 2021

<p>China's top 10 richest technology-based giants lost a combined total of $80B in net worth in 2021. The drop is the largest one-year decline since 2012 and represents a quarter of their entire wealth. Increased scrutiny by China's anti-trust regulator has become increasingly common in the country's tech sector, with increasing regulations partly responsible for the losses faced.<br />
