Cloud demand boosts Foxconn's Q2 profit by 12%

<p>Foxconn, an Apple Inc. supplier, posted a 12% increase in second-quarter net profit, exceeding market expectations due to strong demand for its cloud computing products. The Taiwan-based largest manufacturer of contract electronics in the world reported an increase in net profit for the April-June quarter to T$33.29B from T$29.78B a year earlier. According to Refinitiv, eleven experts predicted an average profit of T$31.02B.</p>
