CoreWeave Acquires OpenPipe to Supercharge AI Agent Training

CoreWeave, a high-performance AI cloud infrastructure provider, is acquiring OpenPipe—a two-year-old, Y Combinator–backed startup—for its agent reinforcement trainer (ART) toolkit. The acquisition bolsters CoreWeave’s platform by integrating OpenPipe’s reinforcement learning tools, empowering developers and enterprises to build and scale customized AI agents more effectively. OpenPipe’s team and clients will join CoreWeave, though financial terms remain undisclosed.
