CVC's bid for share in Telecom Italia's services unit confirmed

<p>Telecom Italia (TIM) announced on Monday that CVC Capital Partners had made a non-binding offer for a minority stake in its business services unit. Pietro Labriola, TIM's newly appointed CEO, has revealed plans to decouple the company's service businesses from its domestic fixed network operations in order to unlock value and explore M&A deals. Cloud, IoT, cybersecurity, and connectivity services for large corporate clients would be included in the services section.</p>
