Danish Drive: WeRide Expands European Robotaxi Footprint to Sixth Country

Chinese autonomous vehicle company WeRide has partnered with Danish electric mobility operator GreenMobility to launch a public robotaxi service in Denmark by early 2027. Subject to regulatory approval, the move extends WeRide’s European presence to a sixth country—following expansions into France, Belgium, Switzerland, Spain, and Slovakia—as Chinese self-driving firms rapidly accelerate international commercialization amid intense domestic competition.
