Data Usage and 4G Expansion Expected to Boost Telco Revenues in Third Quarter

<p>Telecom industry revenue is expected to rise 3-4% quarter on quarter in the October-December period, owing to impressive 4G additions and increased data usage in stronger third quarter of the fiscal year. Revenue may rise by more than 5% in fourth quarter if Bharti Airtel extends its recent sharp increase in base charges in Odisha and Haryana to other circles, and if Jio and Vi follow Sunil Mittal-led telco's lead.</p>
