Databricks, OpenAI Partner to Embed AI Models into Enterprise Platforms
Databricks has struck a multi-year collaboration with OpenAI to integrate OpenAI’s models — including GPT-5 — directly into its cloud data platform and flagship product, Agent Bricks. The deal, valued at $100 million, will allow more than 20,000 Databricks customers to build, test, and scale AI agents on their own data without data movement. This move positions Databricks to compete aggressively in the enterprise AI arena.
