Deutsche Telekom's Czech mobile unit receives approval from EU regulators

<p>To maintain competition in the Czech Republic, EU antitrust investigators accepted concessions from Cetin, a Czech telecoms infrastructure provider, and 02 Czech, a Czech mobile unit of Deutsche Telekom. In October last year, the firms made concessions, which they then modified in response to input from competitors. To provide the two parties sharing certain radio frequencies more freedom and flexibility, the firms will update the mobile network hardware.</p>
