Draft Digital India Bill to be Put Out for Public Consultation Soon

<p>Following the draught Data Protection Bill, the government is expected to introduce the Digital India Bill, which will be made available for public consultation by the end of the month, according to Minister of State for IT Rajeev Chandrasekhar. The proposed measure, along with the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Bill, will support the emerging regulatory framework that is minimal in scope, protects consumer rights, and fosters innovation.</p>
