Dream Sports CEO Declines Legal Fight Over Real-Money Gaming Ban, Eyes Future Reset
Dream Sports, the parent company of Dream11, will not legally contest India’s new real-money gaming ban, CEO Harsh Jain confirmed. With 95% of its revenue and 100% of profits wiped out, the company is shifting focus to sports AI, free-to-play engagement, and creator-led initiatives using its existing 260 million-user base, 800 employees, and multi-year cash runway. Jain calls the regulation a “knockout blow” but vows to rebuild rather than litigate.
