Dutch govt pauses COVID-19 app for 2 days over data leak fears

<p>The Dutch govt has disabled its COVID-19 warning app CoronaMelder for two days amid data privacy concerns, especially on Android OS. Country's Health Minister Hugo de Jonge said that the app will stop sending warning alerts for a period of 48 hours while the authorities validate the security of data. CoronaMelder app uses the tech developed by Google and Apple to send "exposure notification" to users of possible transmission of the virus.</p>
