Electronic Arts Acquired in $55 Billion Deal, Largest Private Equity Buyout Ever

Electronic Arts (EA), the renowned video game publisher behind titles like "Madden NFL" and "The Sims," has agreed to a $55 billion acquisition, marking the largest private equity buyout in history. The investor consortium includes Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund (PIF), Silver Lake Partners, and Affinity Partners, led by Jared Kushner. Shareholders will receive $210 per share, a 25% premium over EA's pre-announcement stock price.
