Ericsson acquires leading network solutions provider Cradlepoint for $1.1 bn

<p>Ericsson has acquired Cradlepoint, a US-based Wireless Edge WAN 4G and 5G Enterprise solution provider, for $1.1 bn. The combined offering will support full 5G-enabled network services, creating new revenue streams for customers. The transaction will close before the Q4 2020 end, subject to closing conditions. With this acquisition, Cradlepoint will become a fully-owned subsidiary of Ericsson, while continuing to operate under its existing brand.</p>
