Ericsson Teams Up Wtih Jio to Create Country's First 5G Standalone Network

<p>Reliance Jio Infocomm, an Indian communications service provider (CSP), and Ericsson have engaged in a long-term strategic 5G contract to roll out 5G Standalone (SA) in the nation. The announcement came after the 5G spectrum was distributed in India's recently finished auctions. Jio and Ericsson are working together for the first time to develop radio access networks in the nation. Both Jio and Ericsson expressed hopes for a positive and beneficial partnership.</p>
