Explained: How hackers steal $ 613 mn in biggest cryptocurrency heist ever

<p>Pulling off the biggest cryptocurrency heist ever, Hackers stole $ 613 mn from Poly Network, a decentralised finance platform. A preliminary investigation said Hackers found a vulnerability in the "Smart Contract" feature of Poly Network, which allowed for efficient swapping of tokens. The hackers seemingly overrode contract instructions and diverted funds to wallet addresses. As of late Wednesday, hackers returned $ 260 mn, but $ 365mn was still outstanding.</p>
