F5 to Acquire CalypsoAI for $180M to Strengthen Enterprise AI Security
F5 is acquiring CalypsoAI, a company specializing in AI security, for $180 million in cash to bolster its Application Delivery and Security Platform. CalypsoAI brings real-time threat defense, large-scale red-teaming, and data security features—including protections against prompt injection, policy violation prevention, and unified audit/logging. The deal closes in F5’s Q4 FY2025 and aims to help enterprises securely deploy generative AI and APIs amid growing regulatory pressure.
