FaceBook buys customer-service software maker Kustomer to monetise messaging biz

<p>Facebook has acquired a New York-based software company Kustomer Inc that helps businesses manage customer conversations from multiple services on one dashboard. The deal was valued at more than $1 bn, reports said. The deal will help FB to monetise its messaging business, which it is expanding to include customer-service products. Kustomer also offers automated tools so companies can handle easier customer requests using bots.</p>
