Facebook disabled 1.3 bn fake accounts between Oct-Dec 2020

<p>Facebook had removed 1.3 bn fake accounts between Oct and Dec last year. Besides. it had taken down over 100 networks of coordinated inauthentic behaviour. The social media platform has a worldwide network of over 80 independent fact-checkers in 60 languages. on FB 95% of the time users do not interact with content having a warning label. Facebook used AI to bring down 12 mn pieces of false content on COVID-19 and vaccines.</p>
