Facebook to build "Metaverse" responsibly, invests $50M for the same

<p>Facebook will invest $50M and partner with organisations to build the "Metaverse" responsibly. The "Metaverse", will be a virtual world where people can use devices to move and communicate in the digital environment, which Facebook is developing. After receiving criticism over its impact on Online Safety, the new XR Programs and Research Fund will ensure for two years that Metaverse tech is built in an inclusive and empowering way.</p>
