Facebook to restore news sharing in Australia after govt amends proposed law

<p>Facebook made a move of restricting news content in Australia after a row over a proposed media bargaining code that was expected to be voted into law. The company said that it will begin restoring news sharing to Australian users&rsquo; feeds soon after reaching an agreement with the local govt. The law requires Facebook, and other major tech firms, to make revenue-sharing agreements with publishers for content posted to their social media platforms.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
