Facebook Users Sue Meta For Allegedly Tracking On iOS Using A Loophole

<p>The parent corporation of Facebook and Instagram, Meta, according to a recent lawsuit, continued to snoop through a loophole in Apple's privacy policies. Users are not taken to their phone's default browser when they click a link inside the Facebook app; rather, Meta sends them to an external browser, the lawsuit alleged. When clicking on links inside either Facebook or Instagram, users who choose to opt-out can mistakenly think they're on a different web browser.</p>
