Figma CTO: AI Augments Creativity, Will Not Replace Designers
Figma's Global CTO Kris Rasmussen stated that AI will augment, not replace, human creativity, helping firms move up the "creative stack." The technology empowers designers by accelerating the process and enabling non-designers to express ideas visually. Figma, which uses models like GPT-4.5, is expanding its India presence and remains transparent about user data, allowing opt-outs.
