From Telecom to Tech: Semiconductor Giant ASM Snags KPN Finance Chief

Dutch semiconductor equipment maker ASM International has named Chris Figee as its next Chief Financial Officer. Figee, who currently serves as the finance head at telecom operator KPN, will officially join the chip equipment company on December 1, 2026. Following a planned transition period, he will formally succeed the retiring CFO, Paul Verhagen, after shareholder approval in March 2027.
