Germany watchdog to probe Amazon’s influence on traders’ price-setting

<p>Germany’s antitrust authority has launched an investigation into Amazon’s relationship with third-party traders selling on its site. The authority will investigate Amazon’s influence on how traders set their products’ prices. This investigation comes as an action; after traders complained that Amazon had blocked them because of alleged overly high prices. An Amazon spokesperson said that “our systems are designed to take action against price gouging”.</p>
