Global Cloud service spending rose by 35% in 2021

<p>A new report showed that worldwide cloud infrastructure spending increased by 35% to $191.7B in 2021, up from $142B in 2020. Worldwide cloud services reached $50B in a quarter for the first time in Q4 2021, according to market research firm Canalys. In Q4 2021, the top three cloud providers, AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud, rose by 45% to account for a combined 64% of customer spend. Industry-specific applications have helped to broaden the use of cloud services.</p>
