Gogoro, Belrise To Create 50,000 Battery Swapping, Charging Stations In Maharashtra

<p>In order to create a state-wide infrastructure for battery swapping and charging, Gogoro is collaborating with the Indian state of Maharashtra. According to a non-binding MOU signed by the govt, Gogoro, and Belrise, the JV intends to invest up to $2.5 B over eight years. With more than 1.1 MN smart batteries in use, Gogoro has 12,200 battery-changing stations throughout Taiwan. It intends to construct over 50,000 stations throughout India.<br />
