Google acquires Mandiant, which found the hack on SolarWinds, for $5.4B

<p>Google's acquisition of cyber-security firm Mandiant has been closed for $5.4B. Mandiant will join Google Cloud to support companies in managing threats and incidents. Mandiant is known for finding the shocking SolarWinds hack. They will be able to create a security operations suite to help companies stay protected at every stage of the security lifecycle by fusing Google Cloud's current security portfolio with Mandiant's top cyber threat intelligence.</p>
