Google-backed Glance bags $200M investment from Jio

<p>Reliance Industries, parent company of Jio, has announced that they have invested $200M in Glance. Glance is an android application which lets users play media, games or read news on the lockscreen itself. The company says it has a user base of 400 million and they are partnered with many Asian companies like Xiaomi and Samsung. As part of this new investment, Glance will also make its appearance in the JioPhone Next, co-developed by Jio and Google.</p>
