Google claims having warned 50,000 users about Govt-backed hackings

<p>Google has stated that it has so far warned 50,000 users whose accounts were or could have been the targets of Govt-backed phishing or Malware attempts. This shows a notable 33% increase from the number in the same time period last year. The warnings are sent in batches to high risk users to avoid detection of defence strategies by hackers. On an average, Google's TAG monitors over 270 attacker groups from over 50 countries for any threats.<br />
