Google for India: Google invests $10B to boost digitisation in India

<p>Google CEO Sundar Pichai announced the Google for India digitisation fund of Rs 75000 crore i.e. $10B to support GOI for India’s digital transformation. It will be done as a mix of equity investments, partnerships, operational, etc across four main areas – enabling affordable information access to Indians in their regional dialects, developing products to meet India’s unique needs, bolstering digital transformation of businesses, using AI for social causes.</p>
