Google Formally Discontinues Hangouts App

<p>In accordance with a statement from the business, Google has officially discontinued Hangouts. Users will be redirected to Google Chat from the app, which has served as Google&#39;s main chat platform since 2013. Since July, when the Chrome extension and mobile apps in Google Play and the Apple Program Store were taken down, Hangouts, a text, video, and audio chat app integrated into Gmail, have been discontinued.</p>
