Google Likely To Approach Supreme Court After NCLAT’s Refusal To Stay CCI’s Penalty
<p>Google and its Indian arm have decided to move the Supreme Court to seek stay on a Rs 1,338-crore penalty. Competition Commission of India (CCI) found practices relating to Android mobile devices unfair and anti-competitive. Google will challenge the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal&#39;s (NCLAT&#39;s) Wednesday order refusing to stay the CCI&#39;s October 20 &quot;legally untenable&quot; order slapping penalty after a &quot;tainted investigation&quot;.</p>
