Google Meet to get picture-in-picture mode, emojis as part of new update

<p>Google has announced a number of Workspace updates aimed at improving collaboration needs of professionals. For starters, emojis are being added to Google Meet which gives users a way to interact without unmuting themselves. Meet is also getting a picture-in-picture mode, which will roll out in April, to see whoever is speaking while you aren't focused on the active Meet tab. Doc, Sheet and Slide users will soon be able to start a Meet right from the application itself.</p>
