Google Plans $6B Visakhapatnam Data Center Cluster, Set to Become Asia’s Largest
Google intends to invest roughly $6 billion to build a 1-gigawatt data center cluster in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, marking its first major infrastructure venture in India. About $2 billion is earmarked for renewable energy to power the facility. The project is expected to be the company’s largest in Asia and will support its cloud, AI, and digital services expansion across the region.
