Google Play Store to reveal data collected by apps
<p>Google is set to add a new "Data Safety" section in its Google Play App Store. The section will be added in 2022 and will help Android users better understand and protect their personal data. At a glance, the section will display what data an app collects, if it's encrypted in transit, can be deleted, or has undergone independent review. Developers can be transparent about data collection by submitting related info and displaying the same to users.<br /> </p>
