Google Pouring $75B into AI Infrastructure to Stay Ahead in Transformative Tech Race

Google is channeling massive investments into AI infrastructure, focusing on data centers, servers, and networking. Eunice Huang, APAC Head of AI and Emerging Tech Policy, emphasized that under-investing poses far greater risks than over-investing. In April, Alphabet committed about $75 billion in capital expenditure for 2025 to expand data center capacity and support AI initiatives—despite U.S. tariff challenges—to secure long-term returns.
