Google to Invest $15 Billion in Visakhapatnam AI Data Centre, Its Largest Outside the U.S.
Google has announced a $15 billion investment over five years to establish a major AI data centre and hub in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. This facility will be Google's largest AI site outside the United States, initially operating at a 1-gigawatt capacity with plans for future expansion. The project is expected to generate approximately 188,000 jobs and underscores India's growing importance in global AI infrastructure.
